Education is a Lifeline.
We provide learning opportunities for girls in Afghanistan. We invite you to join us as partners, donors or volunteers.
A message from one of our students
On the fifth anniversary of the Taliban’s takeover of our country, I remember that bitter and painful day, the day everything collapsed.
I lost the position and job I had worked so hard for. My husband lost his job too. We both have higher education, yet we are unable to find work or use our knowledge and skills to build a better life.
When I was forced to give up on my own dreams, my greatest hope became that at least my daughter, who is in second grade, would not be deprived of her education. I pray she will achieve the dreams I could not.
Until the day of freedom and justice comes, I will continue to hope for a better future for myself, for my daughter, and for all the women and girls of Afghanistan.
Her hope is why we exist. Help us make sure that girls like her daughter can keep learning.
