Meg is from the United States.  She has a B.A. in architecture and an M.Arch from Yale University. She is an architect based in New York City. Her support for children in Afghanistan began in 2008, and she served on the board of AFCECO (Afghan Child Education and Care Organization) for ten years. When the Taliban regained control in 2021, she spearheaded an online education program for girls living in safe houses. Since 2023, she has been organizing the teaching program with the Shokufa Network and is currently teaching Intermediate B1 English with Edie. She has served as the chair of the Board at the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
